George L. Maloomian is CEO of Cambridge Properties, Inc., a Charlotte-based commercial development and brokerage company founded in 1989. As CEO, George is active in the development of commercial, retail, residential, land and multi-use projects in North and South Carolina. George also oversees the high-level activities of company-managed and third-party-managed shopping centers.

John J. Priester, Jr.
President
Jay Priester began his commercial real estate career immediately upon graduation from North Carolina State University in 2005. Jay's sole focus while at Cambridge for the past 18 years has been sourcing and developing commercial real estate. Such expertise is essential in negotiating purchase contracts, navigating the entitlement process, horizontal and vertical construction, and ultimately project stabilization.
Jay also leads the Cambridge Leasing Team, while focusing his efforts on all anchor tenant and build-to-suit leases.
Brianne L. Moran
Vice President, Controller
For more than 25 years Brianne has been part of Charlotte’s commercial real estate industry working with retailers, developers and investment firms with a focus in the retail sector and master development. As VP, Controller, Brianne’s primary focus is the financial administration of the company.

Nate Buhler
Development Director
Nate serves as Development Director at Cambridge Properties where he is responsible for execution of both retail and residential development projects, including deal sourcing, financial modeling, due diligence, entitlements, consultant management, delivery, and asset disposition. Nate began his time at Cambridge in 2018 as a Development Associate after previously managing site acquisitions in the Carolinas for Lidl US, an international grocery retailer.
Nate holds a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Sewanee: The University of the South.
Meredith Richmond
Real Estate Manager
Meredith joined Cambridge Properties in 2016, where her responsibilities have evolved to include on leasing, development and brokerage for Cambridge. Her focus includes landlord representation, adaptive reuse development, and tenant and buyer representation.
Meredith is a licensed broker in North Carolina and South Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management & Society from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Barrett Blackburn, PE
Director of Project Management
Barrett is involved with projects from initial due diligence through obtaining certificates of occupancies. His responsibilities include site design, managing consultants, permitting, bid process, execution of construction documents, and project closeout.
Barrett is a licensed Professional Engineer and broker in North Carolina.
Dan Thorn
Staff Planner
Dan Thorn is the Staff Planner for Cambridge Properties, Inc., with 33 years of experience in planning commercial, retail, residential and multi-use projects in Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Dan has a background in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Land Development and Project Management. Dan is a federally licensed drone pilot and flies new projects as part of the due diligence process as well as the existing portfolio.
Matt Kornegay
Construction Manager
At Cambridge, Matt serves as a Construction Manager and provides support for the management of land development and vertical construction. His responsibilities include direction of design and construction for new developments, entitlement coordination, and oversight of construction from site development through final completion.
Matt has held a North Carolina real estate license since 2017 and received his degree from North Carolina State University.
Becca Adkins
Marketing and Office Administration Assistant
Becca provides support to all departments at Cambridge relating to development, marketing, and graphic design. She is able to hold the organization of the office accountable and create graphics, brochures, signs, etc. for all projects. Not only is she in charge of the design aspect, but also responsible for the operational support of the office. As she is new to commercial real estate, she is eager to learn more and get started in the industry.
Becca holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from East Carolina University.
