A Charlotte developer is looking to bring a new mixed-use, master-planned development to one of the last undeveloped properties in Cary.
If approved, a rezoning request would allow developer Cambridge Properties to build up to 280 multi-family dwelling units and 250,000 square feet of commercial space.
The property totals 37.5 acres at the corner of SE Cary Parkway. and U.S. Highway 1.
“Our goal is to create a comprehensive, master-planned development,” Buhler says.This early in the process, the company has yet to release any specifics as to the breakdown of space or a timeline for the project.
Located near Marla Dorrel Park, Buhler says the company picked the location for its adjacency to green space and its easy access to major roads and infrastructure.
